A DIFFERENT WORLD

On Another World, Rachel Davis (Victoria Wyndham) went from scheming, insecure villainess to a more mature, confident woman when she married Mac Cory.

Now that her life was no longer centered around trapping a man who didn't want her, she was free to explore other interests. Rachel dove into the art world, producing sculptures which, in real life, were actually created by Wyndham.

To see how Rachel's new passion affected her marriage to Mac, tune into the episodes of AW currently airing on the AOL/PGP Classic Soap Channel.

To check out Victoria Wyndham's latest art exhibition, visit the People: Faces and Figures by Redding Artists display at the Redding Town Hall this Spring!

(Fun Fact: Matt Crane, who played Wyndham's son, Matthew, on AW and is married to Robin Christopher (Sky; GH, ex-Lorna; AW) became a sculptor just like his TV mom!)

With the impending cancellation of Another World from Soapnet, hopefully more fans will make their way to the AOL site. Have you thought about any publicity to let disgruntled Soapnet fans know about the classic Procter & Gamble soaps airing on AOL?

Big question... How frequently will episodes of Another World air on AOL?

I'm one of those disgruntled Soapnet fans who is irritated beyond belief that AW has disappeared from my TV -- again! I'm thrilled to find it online, but pulling my hair out because the only shows available for viewing are from the early 1980's -- and Soapnet left off in 1991!! Will I be waiting another decade to pick up where soapnet left off? HELP!!!

Ok first of all I am not happy that Soapnet took off Another World. Second I have been trying to find out what happened to Dr. Taylor Benson. I think I remember from the first time I watched it that Charlene finally gave her, her what for. But I am not sure. Does anyone out there remember?

The news service of Wikipedia, Wikinews, recently published a terrific article on Victoria Wyndham in which she reflects back on Another World and provides an update on what she has been up to since the show went off the air. You will see that she remembers her experiences with Procter & Gamble fondly. The same cannot be said for the NBC network.
