ATWT: MY, HOW YOU'VE GROWN!

Scott Bryce (Craig) returns April 10 to the role he created in 1982 and played on and off until 1994.

He promptly crosses paths with romantic rival, Paul (Roger Howarth), and is understandably unimpressed by the competition.

After all, when a grown Craig first arrived in Oakdale, Paul was a teeny tot played by Danny Pintauro even before the boy went on to Who's the Boss fame. And when Craig left, Paul was barely out of his teens.

So how hard could it be to take Meg away from this punk -- permanently?

I am completely confused by the implications of this article.

Just because Bryce has replaced Meek, that does not mean that Craig is now a new character.

Craig has been back for months so why is he "promptly cross(ing) paths with romantic rival, Paul, and is (now) understandably unimpressed by the competition."

I realize that Bryce portrayed Craig when Paul was young but that should have nothing to do with the present Story of Craig and Paul in the way the article is implying. Craig is still Craig and not a new character.

I'm all for History. I'm looking forward to seeing the original actor ... but really ... Bryce is still going to be the Craig who has been on the screen all along.

It is so sad that the rich history and rivalry between Craig and Paul is being reduced to them pathetically fighting over the unworthy & boring MEg Snyder. She is NO prize. What a waste of two complex and interesting characters. She isn't worth it.
However, I'll root for Craig to have her if it means Paul will be FREE from the painfully boring SnyderVille.

As for the rest, sadly, I agree. What there to be impressed? Paul has become a pathetic lovesick puppy that obeys MEg's never-ending demands and asks "how high?" when she orders him to jump.

I remember a time when Paul was a FORCE, strong, smart, confident man that stood up for himself and had a job, family, life and self-respect. WHERE is that Paul? He is MIA ever since he sold his soul to Saint MEg.

Well, I am very irritated by the implications of the article. I agree with Tat. I do not see how the character of Paul being young when Scott Bryce left the role has anything to do with their current story, or their romantic rivalry where Meg is concerned.

I am unimpressed by the sentiments expressed, and feel that perhaps Scott's Craig should be impressed with his rival. Paul is not a punk, and maybe Craig will be the one who is "punk'd" when all is said and done.

I really Miss Scott Bryce a Great Deal. He is the BEST actor to have Ever Played Craig Montgomery. He should have Been the Only One to play
Craig as Far as I am concerned. Scott
was Really great with the Kids on the show He gets down to their Level & really Connects with them. In short
he is Like a Big Brother.
