PELPHREY PARTING
As Jonathan says farewell to Springfield, and Guiding Light fans wave good-bye to Emmy-winning actor Tom Pelphrey, the PGP Classic Soap Blog grieves in its own way -- with a photographic look back at some of Jonathan/Tom's greatest moments.
PHOTO #1: Jonathan follows family tradition and takes a dip in the Springfield fountain alongside mom Reva.
PHOTO #2: After years of terrific supercouple angst, Jonathan and Tammy (Stephanie Gatschet) finally wed.
PHOTO #3: Tammy dies despite Jonathan's pleas to stay with him.
PHOTO #4: Jonathan and baby daughter Sarah prepare to strike out on their own, while all of Springfield presumes them dead.

Thank you so much for the tribute to Jonathan and Tom Pelphrey. Jonathan is my favorite soap character ever, and Tom Pelphrey is why I started watching GL in the first place. It's so hard to see him leave!
I've loved the development of Jonathan's relationships with his mother Reva, his true love Tammy, and his daughter Sarah over the years. Thank you for showing photos of each of these relationships. I'm really going to miss seeing Tom act with Kim Zimmer, Stephanie Gatschet and those adorable babies playing Sarah.
I wish Tom all the best in his future endeavors, and I hope we get to see lots of his work in the future. He's an amazing actor, and watching him for the past years has been a total pleasure. Thanks Tom, and thanks GL for bringing him to us!
