Television's biggest stars receive their 2008 Emmy Awards on Sunday.
Mark Ross already has his.
Actually, Ross, a Stockton native whose music career began in local teenage garage bands in the 1960s, has two of them.
The 58-year-old Stagg High School and University of the Pacific graduate won his second daytime Emmy for "achievement in music direction and composition for a drama series" on June 13. He writes and records instrumental music for "Guiding Light," a CBS soap opera, at his home studio in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock.
Winning his first Emmy, in 2007, was a "great moment. Everybody went crazy. It was a really fun moment," Ross said.
