LAYING DOWN THE LAU
Laurence Lau will appear on As The World Turns as Brian Wheatley, a business associate of Lucinda’s who'll be heading up Luke's foundation, beginning on Monday, August 18.
Lau is best known to daytime audiences for portraying the straight-laced Greg Nelson on All My Children from 1981 to 1986, one half of the immensely popular Greg & Jenny pairing. He briefly reprised the role earlier this year.
From 1986 to 1990, Lau was Jamie Frame on Another World, co-starring with Anne Heche who played Vicky, mother of Jamie's only son, Steven, and in 2001, he assumed the role of OLTL's Sam.
Are Brian and Lucinda headed for romance? The imperious Mrs. Walsh was a cougar long before that term achieved mainstream popularity. She had an affair with Craig prior to his becaming her son in law (Sierra's discovery of that fact drove story for months), and longtime viewers well remember the looks she was giving young Holden even as she warned him to stay away from her precious Lily.
The twenty years younger Brian is exactly Lucinda's type! But what will he have to say on the subject?
Tune into As The World Turns this summer and find out!

While it's great to see Lucinda more, I was hoping this would be a new storyline for Luke and Noah. I want to see more of them. What is wrong with you? Don't you get it? Many fans want to see more Luke and Noah. Stop neglecting them. I see this storyline for as something for Lucinda. I caught Luke's 2 minute appearance today and I was not impressed. I am not impressed by their airtime. Luke and Noah need to be on more often!
Why didn't P&G just let him be Jamie Frame from (AW) Bay City who falls for Lucinda. A Cory from Bay City falling from a prominate older female in Oakdale. He could have been coming to Oakdale to enroll his son, Steven in Oakdale University this September. Steven could have been gay and become in envolved with Luke and Noah storyline. Luke could have fallen for Steven. You now history with a Cory- Frame from Bay City dating a Snyder. If you recall "the Snyder Farm was right down from the Frame farm. Soap fans like characters with history. You would have gain so many more fans by doing something simiular to this storyline.
