ATWT IN STRANGE PLACES

(Lee) Elci played professionally in the Cardinals organization and later in Amsterdam and Australia.

When baseball ended (although local pitchers know he can still hit a curveball at 40), Elci worked in construction, as a bouncer and a bartender. He's been an actor on “As The World Turns,” (once or twice a month for three years) and has acted off Broadway.

He won a home run hitting contest once at Dodd Stadium, defeating George Brett, Mike Schmidt, Carlton Fisk and Gary Carter.

“Dude,” Brett told him in wonderment that night. “You rake.”

Turns out it was all prologue for this new career.

Find out what it is, here. (Ed. note: He plays Teddy the bartender on ATWT).
