CRAIG'S BACK!
Today's the day! As The World Turns' Man Whom Everyone Loves to Blame (see post just below this one) Every Time a Stray Baseball Breaks a Window in Oakdale, will show his face again this Monday, October 2, 2006.
Actor Jeffrey Meek becomes the third actor (after Scott Bryce and Hunt Block) to assume the role of Margo and Katie's brother, Lucy's dad, and general Thorn in Side to All.
Recounting his evil past would take more bandwidth than the Internet currently possesses, so I will refer you to an excellent historical site, here.
Instead, I will focus on Craig's future, namely his plan to get biological son, Johnny, away from Johnny's adoptive dad, Dusty. Craig's plan is an excellent one (it involves Emily and Meg and Paul, and that's always fun). But, then again, Dusty's counterattack is pretty clever, too (it involves Lucy, which is good news for Lusty fans).
Jeffrey Meek may be new to ATWT, but he's an old member of the P&G family. He played Quinn McCleary on Search for Tomorrow from 1984 to 1986. Which, means if you want to catch Jeff Before He Was Craig, tune into the AOL/PGP Classic Soap Channel's broadcast of SFT, today!
What's your favorite Craig Montgomery memory? Mine is how devoted he remained to Betsy's daughter, Danielle, even after he found out she wasn't his biological daughter. (Now, granted, kidnapping the child was a bit of an extreme way to express his devotion, but the emotion was sincere if, like all things Craig, a bit warped....)
