SCHOOL DAYS

On Friday, May 29th, professional artist alumni of the Red Bank Regional Visual and Performing Arts Academy return to celebrate its 25th anniversary by performing in a spectacular evening of song, dance, drama and poetry at the Count Basie Theatre. The theater's walls will also be adorned with our students' amazing art work.... Numbered among our many alumni are actors such as Brian Gaskill, who starred in several soap operas including All My Children and the Guiding Light and Gena Shaw, actor and director who worked on CSI, Cold Case and Without a Trace, as well as Kate Dalton. Professional singers include: pop and R & B singer Kelli Glover who was a semi-finalist in the first season of American Idol, jazz singer and recording artist Chelsea Palermo, international opera singers Douglas Peters, George Gray and Matthew Krenz. Lynn Atkins is a chorister with the New York Philharmonic; five alumni, Crystal Amendola, Ellen Munn, Jennifer Nelson and Lauren Stefanakis, are current members of the Metro-Lyric Opera Company.
