WHERE ARE THEY NOW: EDDIE MEKKA (EX-GRADY; GL)

‘Fiddler on the Roof” was the first show Eddie Mekka ever appeared in; he had a small part in a 1970 production by the Worcester County Light Opera Company.

He went on to become best known for his role as Carmine Ragusa, The Big Ragu on the hit ABC sitcom “Laverne & Shirley".... Since then he’s held his own by touring the theater circuit in shows such as “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” movie appearances (he kissed Madonna in “A League of Their Own”), and television (he was a regular for a while on the CBS soap opera “Guiding Light”).
