Hello to our wonderful P & G Classic Soaps blogger. I am hoping that you have been on a well-deserved vacation as elvara has noted. We hope to have you back this week to mark the end of an amazing run of the soap opera which defined the genre.
Please post the link to the 60 Minutes feature on Guiding Light once it airs later today.
I have read with interest that some of the Guiding Light cast were interested in transitiong with the soap to a Web format. With your You Tube and Hulu presence, you already have the makings of a devoted fan following on the Internet worldwide. Who needs TV networks anymore? Please consider transitioning Guiding Light to the web post-September. It already made the leap from radio to TV - why not the Internet as its next broadcast medium?
In a dream world, I would love to see you revive all your classic shows on the web including Another World, Edge of Night, Search for Tomorrow and my favorite, Texas. You could return to the radio format of having 10 - 15 minute episodes which people could load daily on their iPods or other devices.
For what it's worth.
PS - This weekend, I have not been able to access your discussion forums. I am a latecomer to Guiding Light (I watch through the Web) and posed a question on your dicsussion forum about why Edmund hates Reva so much.
I too miss the updates but since it's been almost 2 weeks since the last one I'm guessing they are done. They aren't even looking at it to remove the spam. Too bad they couldn't have at least stayed with it for the end of GL.
Sadly it does make you wonder about the dedication to ATWT. This had been a good way to promote the show.

WOW! Thank you so much. I can't believe they cut this and let Vanessa Williams second song number go on instead!
Can't we have some Photos Preview for Guiding Light before the End?
Only 8 little episodes ...
Please we really need our last pictures.
No updates here anymore?

Why no more updates?
I surely hope that the lack of updates here doesn't reflect the lack of commitment that P&G has to ATWT and to GL's last week...
