  2. Will miss seeing our GL friends onscreen everyday. Cannot believe that this day has come; how can a 72 year old institution pass away like this? What a colossal shame!

  5. Bravo! Thank you for all your years of entertainment. This is truly a sad day for the entertainment business and its viewers... losing such an icon. But, we must applaud the unprecedented longevity! I celebrate in it's life the drama, comedy, intrigue, and love she gave us over the years.

Today when I watched the lives of these beloved people wrap up, I was genuinely happy for the characters. But, the tears came flowing down with the final spoken word... how appropriate.

The light will shine on in my heart "ALWAYS!"

  6. With GL's coming up, so many memories flooded back for me: Amanda and Lucille Wexler story, the murder mystery of Diana Ballard, Carrie's split personality story, Nola and Morgan and Kelly, then onto Nola and Quint, the mystery/love story of Tony and Annabelle, the haunted cottage/barbadoes story, Reva and Reva Bend with Cain, Reva, Josh and Sonni, Reva, Josh and Annie, the nursery ryhme stalker, the stalker who terrorized Chealsea Reardon, the Brent/ Marion story..the list goes on. I hope P&G can find a story to isolate those classics that I mentioned and put them out on DVD. They would be a smash!!!! Good bye to my beloved Guiding Light.
